Q:  Where does the name Jesben® come from? 

A:   As the inspiration for making all natural, great tasting slow cooker sauces, Susie named the company for her children.

 

Q:  Does Jesben® make any other type of sauce?

A: No.  Jesben® makes only Slow Cooker Sauce.  That’s our expertise.  We believe it takes 100% focus to make the best tasting Slow Cooker Sauces.

 

Q:  Are Jesben® Slow Cooker Sauces All Natural

A:  Yes

 

Q:  Do Jesben® Slow Cooker Sauces contain preservatives?

A:  No

 

Q:  Do Jesben® Slow Cooker Sauces contain HFCS?  

A:  No, Jesben® Slow Cooker Sauces do not contain high fructose corn syrup (HFCS).

 

Q: Are Jesben® Slow Cooker Sauces gluten-free?

A: Yes

 

Q: What is the shelf life of an unopened bottle of Jesben® Slow Cooker Sauces?

A: Thirty-six months from the date the sauce was prepared, cooked and bottled.  Look for the “best by” on the bottle.

 

Q: Do Jesben® Slow Cookers Sauces contain MSG? 

A:  No, monosodium glutamate (MSG) is not added to Jesben®Slow Cooker Sauces.

 

Q:  Are Jesben® Slow Cooker Sauces Kosher?

A:  Yes, all Jesben® Slow Cooker Sauces are certified Kosher by the Orthodox Union (OU) an organization that qualifies a food as kosher.

 

Q:  Do I need to use the whole bottle of Jesben® Slow Cooker Sauces?

A: Jesben® Slow Cooker Sauces are intended to be used to prepare a single family meal with approximately
3-5 lbs of meat or protein (serves 6 to 8).  If using less than that amount, less than a full bottle may be used
(although extra sauce from your slow cooker meal is great over rice or potatoes!).

 

Q:  How long can I keep an opened jar of sauce in my fridge?

A:  As Jesben® Slow Cooker Sauces do not contain preservatives, jars should not be kept in the refrigerator for more than 3 days.

 

Q:  Can I use Jesben® Slow Cooker Sauce in the oven or stove?

A:  Although Jesben® Slow Cooker Sauces were developed exclusively for slow cookers, they are also delicious as a simmering sauce on the stove or in the oven.
