Italian Sausage

Ingredients

2-3 pounds sweet or hot sausage (turkey, pork and/or beef)

1 jar (24 oz) Jesben® Italian Tomato, Peppers & Herbs Slow Cooker Sauce

Optional:  Sausage buns

Instructions

  1. Place sausage in slow cooker. Pour entire jar of Jesben® Italian Tomato, Peppers& Herbs Slow Cooker Sauce on top of sausage. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-5 hours or until sausage is fully cooked.
  2. If desired, remove cooked sausages and slice into each into quarters on a diagonal before returning to sauce.
  3. If desired, serve whole or sliced in sausage buns, using slotted spoon to top with cooked sauce.

Makes 10-12 servings.
